I think I just tried to mug someone.
 

I go to the Safeway down the street from my house to pick up something for dinner. As I am walking inside I am approached by a man who asks me for some change. At this point I look down and see he has a latte from Starbucks.

I say, "You have the nerve to ask me for money, while you're drinking a motherfucking latte? I can't even fucking afford Starbucks. How dare you. I'm willing to bet you have more money than I do."

Guy, "uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh"

Me, "Hand over your wallet."

Guy takes a few steps back, turns and walks away. I respond with a really loud, "That's right"

Old guy watching gives me a high five.

When asked for change I usually just reply : "Fuck you mf'er I need liquor too!" and walk on by.

I thought your line was "I just bought a $30 steak, I ain't got no money!"
