This is probably WTLY material but I couldn't find anything.

Time lapse photos of Subaru accident on 395.

Don't know when it happened but the guy was pretty lucky.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-01-30 08:27 AM

Thats crazy, I never saw that.

MattR 2009-01-30 10:00 AM

Damn! I was reading that thread when it started, but gave up on it before that got posted. Crazy that someone took all those pictures of it happening.

For some reason, I think that guy looks like one of the Lithia salesmen... but I might just be imagining it 'cause he looks like a douche in a salesman shirt and tie driving an STi.

+1 I've never seen that either.

He would have been able to pass that car on the inside but he did it right at the hump in the median. I can just hear the bumper sound from pinball.

Nick Koan 2009-01-31 08:32 AM

This deserves its own thread, damn thats weird.

What's even crazier is that someone was around to photograph it.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-01-31 09:09 AM

He said in his post the pictures were from a DOT vehicle following him. I never really thought about it but I bet all the highway DOT vehicles would have cameras. Maybe even that road assistance van.

GusGus91 2009-01-31 01:41 PM

That guy looks familiar to me... But anyway, that's pretty crazy. I wonder what the guy in the white van was thinking in the third picture. haha

Type 1's should all be wearing a Med Bracelet. If he was really so low that he smashed the car and can't remember, he needed something besides adrenaline really fast......

wrxkidid 2009-02-02 12:44 PM

Yea they should be wearing bracelets but let me tell you from experience not many people actually do. It can make it pretty difficult to figure out whats going on especially if they are unresponsive/confused.

looks like a nasty wreck.

dayofpain 2009-02-10 08:50 AM

my car was WAYYYYY more blowed up than that guys...

not to thread jack and all but my neck has two ruptured disks and one super small fracture of a vertebra. im all kinds of broke. not to mention that i have got 2 full concusions in 1.3 years time.

one more and my dr says ill be reggie ray! id get all pertarded. thatd be fun i guess. rofls

cody 2009-02-10 09:18 AM

Ugh, and the fact that your accident was 100% unavoidable makes me scared to drive.

It's wrecks like that that make me never want to own a motorcycle. If Phil had been on his bike that night, he'd be dead. :(

dayofpain 2009-02-10 07:22 PM

yeah fubar.... bigtime...

JonnydaJibba 2009-02-27 03:18 PM

Holy shit that's intense. I like the picture where he is sitting in the passenger seat with blood all over his face like nothing happened. But the same time, it makes my stomach hurt.
