Redbox: Movies for free and cheap...

I have been using them for a while and must say they are very cool.

Free movies on Monday, $1/day every other day and right in any of the supermarkets I shop in.

You can check availability and reserve them on-line. (Except for freebies)

I know you Blu-Ray folks don't like them, but blu-Ray is coming, soon...

If you haven't tried them, go to redbox.com and find one near you and check out the movies available.

Then get a bunch of free rentals.

Your first time, use REDBOX. (Only for new members/credit/ATM cards)

After that, DVDONME and BREAKROOM will get you one as well.

New free codes every Monday and more at http://www.insideredbox.com

Senor Cheap Bastard approved!

Yep! Great product. Probably the only retail video option that will survive with Netflix and streaming media.

They just rereleased some older movies as well that will be rotating through the machines.

I may have to rent Stripes again... On a free Monday! ;)

Try them out. Use the codes I listed to do it for FREE!

Just announced!!! Now you get a free movie on Wednesdays in March!

This will likely make it up on Inside Redbox as well, so that will likely remain the place for all free codes...

I also have to give my vote for redbox. Ever since then I have found myself saying "that movie looks like total crap. Oh, what the hell its only $1."

The individual machines often have about 20% different stuff. So "Find a RedBox" first and then look at the selection. It is not Netflix or Blockbuster, so you only get a couple hundred to choose from, but current and popular releases for a buck a day can't be beat.

When Hollywood actually starts making movies worth watching, I'll gladly pay the $15-$25 to see it in the theater or to buy it on DVD.

Until then, $1/day doesn't fix the fact that most movies are literally worthless.

Its only worthless if you don't value your time. I'd say its actually less than worthless.

If that were true Tyler Perry would owe the state of Georgia $70B.
