WTB: Need dp o2 sensor today!

So basically mine wont come off the oem dp, since it is rusted on there so bad, and we have been trying for 2 hours to get it off. And now the bold it rounded, and we have no chance of getting it off.

I basically need an o2 sensor asap today..

please call me if you have anything 636-1296

What a total newb. If you have it off the car, bring it by my place this afternoon.

I have a plug you can borrow if Juice can't get that out for you. The car will run okay without that O2 sensor (I'm 90% sure) but it will throw CEL's, but it was going to do that anyway until I turn them off for you.

Yea... Loren helped with the rounding too.. Haha, I think he texted you. I'll bring it by if I can if you think you can get it off.

Try PB Blaster, big vice grips, and a hammer.

No, not that hammer!

That plug is on my front porch if you need it.

Pipe wrench!

imprezif 2009-05-22 03:30 PM

Okay, thanks matt. I think I'm gonna come pick it up. And should have it back to you in a few days.

Hmm.. I was actually listening to MC Hammer like an hour ago..

That is way too elegant.

(actually the best suggestion though).

Thanks Joel for getting that off for me.

Yeah, for that specific fitting, it really is a perfect tool. It doesn't slip when properly tightened even after repeated banging on it with a large dead blow hammer!

A good bench vice and turning the pipe itself works as well off the car.
