Want to Buy: A wishlist

So, as the title says, there are a few things that I'd like to buy for my car and I'm hoping that some of you guys have them around, because I'd rather buy from you. ^_^

So, I WTB:

a rear sway bar
Rims (Found)
An iPod compatible head unit
Maybe some speakers
Lightweight pullies
and maybe a spare set of cams to have a spare so I can send my originals to Delta.

But, it is just a wishlist because I am a poor college student. That's not to say I'm not at all interested, so let me know if you've got any of these parts around. I'm also willing to pay with ice cream on top of money.

Jake

(My car is a base model 2008 Impreza 2.5i)

ive got a set of rota torque wheels with tires tht im selling.

bigrobwoot 2009-06-03 08:20 PM

I've got a set of ADR Cyphers on my car that I wanted to upgrade from. They're 18x7.5, but a little tore up. I curbed them a couple times, and slammed into a curb after sliding on ice and bent one. The clear coat is coming off a lil bit, but I still think they look good. I'm still rockin em haha. I'll take pics or you can check them out in person if you want.

At the end of this autox season, I hope to be selling my 17X7.5 Enkei RP02's, all 6 of them for like $500 with whatever is left on the RE01R's on 4 and old burnt out RT615's on 2. They're a couple pounds lighter than Rotas in the same size.

We'll see how money is though. My goal is to rock light 17X8 wheels with Starspecs in 245/40/17 or similar.

Thanks guys. ^_^ And much thanks to Andy!

Does anyone happen to have a spare exhaust tip laying around?

100_Percent_Juice 2009-06-11 04:15 PM

A spare exhaust tip? Like from kragen or something?

Jeikun 2009-06-11 05:09 PM

Like something they can weld onto a Muffler delete pipe.

bigrobwoot 2009-06-11 05:19 PM

You still interested in that catpipe to use for uel's? If you're gonna get uel headers you should get the catpipe to at least stay smoggable IMO, but I dunno how tough it is to pass smog here cuz I'm registered in Carson

Jeikun 2009-06-11 05:22 PM

I'm probably not gonna be getting the UELs because I dont want to lose the power... I love the sound, but I need the horsepower. Every single one counts. :P

sedonabugeye 2009-06-11 08:29 PM

no problem jake! anything to help out!

wrxkidid 2009-06-14 03:59 AM

Smog in Washoe county is easy. As long as your car is OBD II and you have no CELs your solid. Pre OBD II there is a sniffer test so I can't say how easy that is but after 97 it became very very easy to pass.

This isn't quite true... you can't have any CELs and the ECU has to properly report that the self-tests have completed correctly. Which is why if you've got a persistent CEL for an emissions related reason that keeps popping up, you can't get away with just clearing the CEL right before you get smogged... right after clearing it, there's no ready flag set for the test that's causing the CEL.

but cant u just pull out ur handy dandy laptop and disable that code before you go there ?? well like a week before you go so the ecu has time 2 learn?
