So that's why 5 cop cars went blowing by me...

...in the other direction at 100 mph as I was leaving Wingfield Springs on Sunday.

The first officers to arrive took the woman, with facial injuries and unable to respond due to her panic, from the front yard to safety and summoned medical help.

Police evacuated nearby homes and closed streets before entering the home and disarming the man, said to be a veteran of the Vietnam War.

The man's name and address were withheld.

Yeah, it sounded like south-central in my hood last night.

Since were were passing right past your place, I thought about dropping by w/ the dog Sunday evening (Lisa's co-worker who was dog sitting for us over the weekend lives in Wingfield Springs, we were picking him up when the Po-Po went by)... but then I thought it was bad form to bring our puppy by unannounced.

Especially since we just found out he's got some sort of butt-worms (poor little guy is at the vet today for medication).

Dude, you guys can always stop by...especially with the Dog.

MattR 2009-06-15 03:13 PM

Well, Lisa went through the whole ordeal of putting the little guy in his car carrier, and hauling him to the vet. She got there, and all they did was take the poop sample we had put in a plastic bag and said "we'll let you know what the lab finds".

Why the hell couldn't they had mentioned they didn't need to see the damn dog on the phone so she wouldn't have brought him?!? Plus WTF do they need to go to the lab for... there's a damn worm right there in his poop!

Poor little doggy is all sad and lethargic. He even goes and lays down in his crate w/ having to be told.

Well, they need to figure out what kind of butt-worm it is. There are many types of butt-worms in the world, and not all butt-worm treatments kill all types off butt-worm.

/I could be making that all up based on my desire to keep typing butt-worm.

If it takes fucking CSI to look at a worm and a picture of a worm and match the two up, then I don't have much faith in the vet.

Even I can tell it looks like a roundworm, and that's the 1st (and hopefully last) butt-worm I ever need to see.

FWIW, both my pups had one early case of butt-worms, an nothing since. Knock on wood. And the treatment is cheap.

Only in this forum could a thread titled "So that's why 5 cop cars went blowing by me..." end with the last eight posts being about or related to the topic of dog butt worms.

Did you build an airplane out of them, or was it some lame ass random kit where the best you can do is build a red and blue house?

It could have been anything from a space mining facility to a pirate ship.

cody 2009-06-16 08:13 AM

I hear butt worms are into space mining.

And with that comment, the Internet has come full-circle, and must implode in on itself.
