Prescription Sunglasses!

Why didn't I just invest in them years ago, I heart them.

Screw contacts and crappy sunglasses.

Summertime.

The only thing that sucks about them is having to swap back and forth with regular glasses instead of just taking off the sunglasses when you go inside. I perpetually forget my regular glasses in the car when I park somewhere.

What about those glasses that darken when you go outside?

Usally I'm inside most the day or outside so I'm cool with that. I noticed you had to switch glasses at the meet I can see how that would get annoying.

Juice, Yeah I took a look at the Transitions glasses but like I say above I'm either in or outside so 2 pair is cool with me.

The transitions suck because they work on UV and therefore don't get dark in the car because the glass filters UV.

I love my polarized large lens prescription sunglasses. People with small lens or clip-ons for small lenses are just ruining their eyes with all the light coming around the sides.

I tried prescription sunglasses, and it was just a hassle having to carry around both sets all the time. I much prefer contacts with regular sunglasses. Plus I don't have to worry about losing or destroying the prescription glasses.

Non-broken eyesight FTW.

But if I had to choose, I'd probably get prescription sunglasses if I decided on glasses over contacts, based on observations of all the blind people around me.

I've had a double set of prescription glasses for about 6 years. Never had a problem, but you get used to switching back and forth.

You need to go baller and get the presciption windshield - man it's awesome!

lol, you can get half off corrective lazer eye surgery. Just mention "Blaze". That commercial kills me.

I'm in the market too. Any good deals out there? I heard that Lens Crafters is offering half off lenses right now. I imagine that I could reuse my existing eye glass frames with new lenses and pick up some inexpensive sunglass frames in order to get both at once but I seem to remember hearing deals where they throw in a free pair of prescription sunglasses when you buy eyeglasses at regular price. Let me know if anyone hears of that deal. I'm ready for new frames for my eyeglasses.

I just alternate getting the lenses from my optometrist. Insurance covers a new set of lenses every year, so one of my pairs of glasses just lags behind my prescription by a year.

Also, every time I see this thread title is bumped I think "PORKCHOP SANDWICHES!"
