This brings back a lot of memories from growing up. She was one grade behind me, same bus route as me, two or three bus stops ahead of my own stop. I remember that morning well, my mother stopped me from going to the bus stop and told me what had happened and that the school system had canceled school that day.

Talk about crazy!

I remember when that happened as well, I wonder how healthy the girl is mentally/emotionally now. It sounds like she has basically been a prisoner for 18 years.

I would think at least a serious case of Stockholm syndrome, especially considering she has the guy's baby... That's effin nuts tho guys, I couldn't even imagine how intense and unreal that day had to be for you

She does have Stockholms pretty bad. The Mom was saying that Jaycee feels really bad about her attachment to the kidnapper.

She will be fucked in the head for the rest of her life. No way around it.

Agree, you don't undue 18 years of brainwashing by a nut case with conventional therapy. Who is even qualified to begin to address this magnitude of a mindfuck? I fear that there is much more to this story that has yet to play out.

Unfortunately, there is not a punishment severe enough for this monster, death would be to quick.

Not only her, but what about her two teenagers that have never lived a normal life. Its a sad story all around.

It seems almost certain the children have been molested as well. They are his daughters, but I doubt that fact would stop this monster.

Yeah, they are technically his daughters, but I'm sure he raped her to get those children. She was 14 and 17 when they were born...
