The brown in the pics below needs to be changed to the blue in the other pic. Possible?

First you want megan fox on your hood now this!?

I can do it sometime in the next few hours. Are the blue spacers totally blue or white around the edge?

Dean 2009-08-29 04:34 PM

If not Matt, I have an engine/head/TGVs sitting here that you could use to re-shoot them...

Hood? more like face.

Below is what the edges look like.

Maybe a better idea. We'll see...

Well, it doesn't look as good as it probably should if I spend more time on it... but c'est la vie.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-29 07:57 PM

Here is the first one, I will do the other one when I get back tonight.

Sweet guys! Now in pink. ;)

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-29 09:06 PM

I couldn't get this one to not come out fake looking. I will probably look fine to someone who hasn't seen the original. I usually do my best work with joose in my system. Oh well.

 Only Juice!!

Dean 2009-08-30 06:43 AM

I think Scott wins, but only on apparent color accuracy.

Juice was juicing and channeled the Smurfs on the second one, but wins with the good sales idea except for the eventual lawsuit. :)

knucklesplitter 2009-08-30 06:50 AM

Thanks, guys! I thtink I'll use the first one from Juice (really nice job!) and the second one from Scott (looks more "real"). And the Megan Fox endorsement will be used also.

You didn't bother to deal w/ the reflections, but you did a much better job on the realism of the color/texture.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-30 01:42 PM

The joose had me feeling loose.

knucklesplitter 2009-09-17 07:03 AM

Thanks again, guys. Here is the listing with your handiwork dispayed:

Is there any way to get rid of the shadow on the first pic below and whiten up the background?

Click on the pic. to get a higher resolution version.

The second pic is okay. It just shows the intake in the kewl new KSTech Cold AirBox that is finally ready. :D

I think the shadow only looks wrong because it's on the top. See, here it is rotated, with the levels cleaned up a bit.

Will that work?

That is the way I took the picture - upside down, and then I rotates it 180deg. I prefer it to be in the orientation you would see it on the car. I'm putting together another one for a guy in Australia. I think I will retake the pic.

That would work better.... pulling the shadow out results in it looking fake.

I can give it a try tomorrow when I get home. I remember you saying something about sending a set of spacers and intake to everyone who edits the pictures?

Here it is cleaned up a little without the shadow.

Jeikun 2009-09-21 12:54 AM

If you ever want some semi-professional photography, I'd totally be down with helping you out. Let me know.

knucklesplitter 2009-09-21 06:10 AM

Thanks, Juice. Looks good.

A set of 3mm spacers is yours if you want 'em.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-09-21 08:35 AM

Sounds schweet!
