WTB: stock (or stock-ish) parts for GC/GM

Getting ready to sell the coupe so I need some replacement parts. Looking for:

stock brake lines
stock shift knob (RS red stitch)
stock airbox
stock grill

MPREZIV 2010-01-22 02:31 PM

Lemme check through my piles of junk. I believe I have the airbox (maybe), grill, and I know I've got a flywheel or two lying around. Probably not any good clutches to go with the flywheel, but it's part-way there I suppose.

Kevin M 2010-01-22 02:40 PM

Sweet. I need to head down to grab those brakes from you anyway. :D

Kevin M 2010-01-22 02:40 PM

Forgot to mention, I could use a complete suspension too. Doesn't have to be RS.

MPREZIV 2010-01-22 02:58 PM

You can have the front calipers, and RS brackets if I can find them, but the WRX brackets and rotors are taken already. Gotta get out to my folks' house for the grill and air box.

Kevin M 2010-01-22 07:44 PM

I think I have a set of RS brackets actually, so that's cool with me.

stock airbox ("torquebox")
stock brake lines
stock engine/transmission mounts
stock shift knob (RS red stitch)
Subaru-specific 16" wheels, preferably RS stockers w/ tires OR really cheap 17s without tires
stock front LCAs w/ ball joints intact
stock tie rod ends
stock grill
stock clutch/flywheel

I'll trade you a shifter knob for my stocker. Call me if you want.

And...I'll be upgrading my suspension hopefully within the next couple of months too. I let you know about that one.

Actually I realized I have a stock one in the wagon, so I can just use that and move the Ti knob there. And I scrounged some stock(ish) suspension from Scotty so I'm set there. But thanks!

You don't happen to know where your stock airbox went do you? I thought I already had it, but I can't find it in the garage.

Bump, last bits before this thing is ready to roll.

cody 2010-03-14 08:02 PM

I have stock brake lines for my WRX. $25 for all 4 if they fit.

Kevin M 2010-03-14 08:04 PM

I just need fronts, and they will work. I'll do $15 if you can stop by on your way home from work and help me bleed them. :)

cody 2010-03-14 08:06 PM

That's not a very good deal but okay.

cody 2010-03-15 08:32 AM

Can we meet up this weekend and you help me bleed my brakes too?

Kevin M 2010-03-15 08:53 AM

Yeah, we can do yours any time. Heck, we can get them done tonight if you want. I need to get these on my coupe ASAP though, it's the last thing before I can get it out of the garage.

cody 2010-03-15 08:55 AM

Aw, okay. I forgot to grab them this morning. I'll set an alarm so I remember to put them in the car tonight. Shoot me your address and I'll stop by tomorrow around 6:00 on my way home. What kind of pizza do you like? I'll grab a large from Round Table since they're only $10.

Kevin M 2010-03-15 09:00 AM

I'll have to check with Nina if she is okay with me having pizza and sticking her with cooking for herself.

cody 2010-03-15 09:03 AM

There will be enough for the 3 of us. Just choose a pizza with tons of callories. :P

Kevin M 2010-03-15 09:20 AM

Hawaiian works. :)

cody 2010-03-15 06:40 PM

Kevin, just saw your text. No I didn't forget, but you apparently didn't read this post completely:

Not only did I not read it right, I didn't not read it wrong twice.

cody 2010-03-15 06:42 PM

Are you two sitting there staring at eachother hungrily?

Kevin M 2010-03-15 06:45 PM

Actually Nina went over to her parents' for a bit.

And the hungry staring comes later.

A1337STI 2010-03-18 03:45 PM

Kevin M 2010-03-18 05:07 PM
