Aston Martin Vanquish - Rice? Or Just Me.

I was looking at the interior of a 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish. It almost looks rice in my opinion. Almost looks cheap for a 250,000$ car. Just me?

The fact that they are hand-built and stuff makes it a little better, but this color or something just sticks out like cheap or rice.

After I sit in it and mess with everyting I'd tell you but I can't really say from the pictures, it kinds looks bright, but maybe that's the way the light is hitting it.

That interior looks a little better than the 05' Mustang. Which isn't saying much, since the Mustang looks like a bag of ass.

Hey, at least you can change the colors of the "gauges"!

I have recently come to the opinion that most new cars are total crap. With few exceptions, unless it has words such as "Ferrari" in its name, it is most likely pure, unadulterated, mass-marketed, brand image-before-function, crap.

The problem is... we live in the future, so car designers feel like we should be somhow puching the limits of creativity to make "futuristic" looking cars. The problem is that all the designers have run out of ideas, which spawned this whole neo-retro craze. Frankly, re-hashing designes from what was the DARK AGE of automotive design (i.e. the 70's) is ABSOLUTLEY RETARDED. We get crap styling from 70's, plus "futuristic" materials like plastic and vinyl instead of the real metal and leather.

As far as the Aston Martin... YOU'RE SMOKING CRACK. I don't care how bright the interior is... it's still a sexy beast!! It's the REAL Bond car, not those lamer over-hyped BMWs. All that interior needs is the champagne chiller in the center console.

Nah...ran out of crack last night. LSD is on the menu tonight

I look at the Aston Martin....then look at the BMW Z8. Both high end cars...yet the BMW still holds its design better the the 250k car. Outside of the Vanquish is still sick! As for the inside...I would never spend 250k on that crap like interior that looks like a director of 2F2F would create.

Opinions are opinions. That looks way to borderline rice to spend 250k.

Well, your 1st problem is that you found pictures of the blue interior...

Better, no?

2nd, you didn't post pics of the outside:

Nothing says power, and grace like Aston Martin... seriously, with the possibility of a Ferrari, there is no sweeter package for a 460hp V12.

First off, no need to post pics of the outside. Everyone knows how sick it is. And the power is just off the hook with the F1 tranny. But the fact they even have that option available is sad IMO. But, the interior you posted would be much better.

Maybe the one I pictured, some ricer that won the lotto purchased. Since they are all hand-built.

Just found that interior funny, and almost tacky for a 250k car. But, to each their own.

It's gonna need a whole hell of a lot of power and grace to haul around that ridiculous 4012.4lb (1820kg) curb weight.

Yeah, it's no spring chicken... in fact it's more like a 100% grade-A british beef ROCKET SLED. W/ a champagne chiller in the center console.
