FS: NEW take-off Bridgestone RE070 tires, from 07 STI < 100 miles

Sorry, no longer available...

One of our customers has a set of 225/45-ZR17 Bridgestone RE070 tires taken off a 2007 STI when it was brand new (<100 miles), and we offered to to help sell these. Looking for reasonable offers. No pics yet, but these tires have 99+% of the tread left.

PM, email, or call...

I have a buddy down here that might be interested, pending a price.

I think $300 might be doable, but I am not sure.

I'll take them at that price, LMK. Will give me an excuse to get up there, too, and see the shop.

Well, the customer thinks the tires are worth twice that, which they are not, so sorry to waste everybody's time.

Well, they're worth that much brand new.

Wait... no, they *cost* that much brand new.

They're not worth that much brand new, which is why people buy the Dunlops these days.

I picked up my set of RE070s (five of them, one 20%, four 75%) with the Rota Boosts for $250, one of the wheels was trash. Sold the wheels for $100, so I got the set of 75% RE070s for $150. The seller had them on Craigslist for nearly a year.

Just sayin...

Yep, I tried. Thanks for checking, Matt!

Sometime next spring, when they're still taking up space in the garage, they might be willing to accept the reasonable offer you made on them Aaron.

Wow, $300 for used tires that have been sitting for 3 years, and they didn't take it? Haha.

Kevin M 2010-11-18 04:48 PM

They called the dealer and asked how much they cost new...
