Such a sweet car Andy!
Nice to see it's up and running!
What made you decide to stay with WRX heads? Isn't there a massive gain from the STi heads even if you run without the AVCS hooked up? Also.. that's a goddamned lot of boost. Are you planning on running 91 on the street? Where are you getting E85? |
He's runnin E85 all the time and he's getting it in Gardnerville.
from what i found, wrx heads seemed to flow better than some year sti heads.. either way its pushing a whole lot of air! and ya, when the 30 pounds hits it hits hard! defiitely not an auto-x car anymore.. lol
and ya, like gus said, i go out to g'ville to fill up, and no i dont drive her out there.. i take some cans in my truck and go. seems to be more logical. |
and thank you Joel!

ya.. so much fun to drive.. hard to stay out of the boost, but its good its laggy cause the e85 is kind of a pain to get. haha
Wow Andy, Your car is beautiful in every way!! from the color to the performance gains. Congratulations on a great build my friend!!!
Thanks Sergio! The gains are definitely nice.. its a freight train,, after 5500.. haha

I can never get rid of mine.. and if you do.. personally Id start with an 07 sti.. ive had to do sooo much more work to get it solid w the drivetrain and braking.
Did you have to do anything specific to make sure the E85 doesn't melt your car?
Awesome, Andy!
thanks cody! and no.. the newer cars.. and i say that fairly loosely.. have better rubber parts and lines in them than older cars, so the e85 doesnt seem to be a problem. I had that question at first, but asked a bunch of guys running it if they have had any problems.. and a few of them have been on it for multiple years with no issues at all.. only thing was setting up a big enough fuel system to support the e85 on such a large turbo.. thus the dual walbro, aeromotive fpr, fuel rails, and dw1400cc injectors.
