WTT: Stock STI cat-back for KSpeed labor.

Anybody have a stock STI cat-back to sell or trade?

Matt

I would trade you mine, but it's my favourite part on the whole car.

Hey Matt, get in touch with Andreas...

I think I found one.

If anyone else has one lying around, I think I wouldn't mind buying it just to stash in the garage for the day when the Prodrive I just put on becomes too loud for my aging ears.

Naw... just looking for an STi one, and only if it's super cheap, since I don't actually need it. In fact, I've got an Invida taking up space in my garage that should be unloaded first anyway... WTH am I thinking? :?:

Feel free to give me that Invidia at no charge :D

If you really want it, I'll unload it cheap. Make me a lowball offer! ;)

I have a stock STI Cat Back , 05 Style.

I'm planning on using it on my Rally Car for the next season.

this board/community has been great to me over the years so if someone Wants it, AND will trade me something that will work well for my rally car . I'm open to trades.

"What else would work?" Its a 2.5 RS with upgraded Cams .. I don't want to choke off my flow, and I don't want it crazy loud. a turbo exhaust could be made to work cause my exhaust will be custom after the headers...

Honestly the STI Cat-Back will get destroyed this next season of rally racing, so if someone wants it (who isn't just going to destroy it) LMK

if not, no worries.

You really should just run a straight-thru magnaflow or something if you're going to be building a custom exhaust. Get it as high and tight under the car as possible. The stock exhaust mufflers are kinda big and heavy.

Plus, if you hole it or something, a new one is cheap at summit, rather than having to start hitting the forums and pick-n-pull trying to locate a used part.

A1337STI 2011-02-17 02:06 PM

That's what we did for the current Exhaust. well i went with a cherry bomb, made in the usa and only $13 ... the exhaust is way shredded. and i figure why spend money on parts, when i have a working exhaust (stock sti) not doing anything...

=\ but ya no reason to destroy something that's nice. cheap replacement is a huge plus in auto racing!

hmmm...
