WTB: RS Transmission (98-01)
 

Like the title says , looking for a spare RS transmission.

I lost 2nd gear last night (4 days before i leave for Idaho) Tom S. is doing emergency surgery tonight on it, we are hoping its a rolling bearing issue 1,2-5 +R all work perfect . the shift lever just can't be pushed into 2nd (with any normal amount of force)

but this issue does show me that having a spares transmission ready to go .. would be a great thing. :)

Guess any GC , AWD transmission would be ok, though i'de have to source a 4.11 conversion if its not .

Good luck with this one. It took me almost a year to find mine.

Tom some how between 2:30 and 5:30 dropped my transmission (having to take off multiple skid plates) found the problem and rebuilt it.

but yeah i should start looking for a spare transmission ...

I'd grab the first thing you can find with a matching diff, since it's just a spare.

A deal. Alex, if you snap it up, I could use that trans x-member and the bushings it uses too.

ya that doesn't look too bad. i may have to shoot him a msg , and sure if i end up with that. :)
