ESCA Autocross in Santa Rosa
1 Attachment(s)
Yo. I went to my first non-Reno autocross a couple weeks ago. It was similar but different. Some things were better, some slightly worse. Great day to run a Subaru though. I'll attach the results.
Now I'm in a class with all other street tired 4T and 6 Cyl NA cars. Mods are completely open. I'll probably check out some SCCA Solo in Oakland too. I'll go with a buddy who runs his old 280z and his new 370z in stock classes there. http://youtu.be/9aZl-f7rig0 |
SFR events will be a whole new game for you dude. They do separate out all their street tire cars the way we were doing it 3 or 4 seasons ago, and I think you'll be trying to beat the de los Reyeses in their RS. Good luck with all that. :p

They've had several project autocross cars going for a while, at least 3 that I know of. I'd be surprised if they retired the RS though, it took 2 trophies at Nats last season and they were still doing some developmental things on it over the winter.

I want a rematch against Derrick too. :P

You wouldn't be running against Noel and Gilbert anyway- it's a DSP race tire car. I'm not sure if Gagan has moved to race tires, but I know he's running our equivalent of TSM with a stock RS motor and doing pretty well.

Nice driving. clean and tidy on a slick surface. :)
gonna take a raw time championship in SR ? |
Wow that course it tight in spots! But looked like a fun time. I love autox in the rain.

Ya, the end was painful. I came in too hot and nearly coned it away at the end. My previous run actually looked much cleaner (less obvious mistakes) but somehow wasn't my fastest time.

I think yellow tricks the finish lights.
