FS: 2006 Outback Sedan 3.0R LL Bean Edition
No longer for sale! Traded it in. :(
It's kinda short notice, but instead of buying a truck (if you saw my other FS thread) we're also contemplating selling my wife's Outback sedan and getting a crossover with more backseat/cargo space. We're likely just going to trade the Outback in unless someone in the club is interested. But I figured since the car is pretty rare and you guys might be the types to appreciate an Outback sedan, I'd post it up here in case anyone wants it. I don't have recent pictures, but I'll take some if I can tonight. These pictures are from when we bought it. The only difference is that is has clear bra, the rubber all-season floor mats (in addition to the LL Bean mats), and gray '08 WRX wheels with low mileage Conti DSWs. Car has 33,2xx miles on it as of today. New battery was just installed a few weeks ago. Car is in fantastic condition, low mileage, and is one of the few Outback sedans (they stopped making them in '07). The 3.0R makes 250hp, and it's got the 5EAT gearbox, so it's pretty peppy even on 87 octane. KBB is $19.6k, we're asking $18,000 since that's about what we expect to get on trade-in. We're meeting the folks at Acura about an RDX on Tuesday, so if anyone's interested let me know ASAP so I don't trade the car away out from under you! http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Car%20P...%20(Small).JPG |
Oh, forgot to mention, the car has the '08 stereo swap done with Sirius and AUX-in in the center console installed.

Scott, I gave your cell # to a close friend who may be interested, hope you don't mind.
Did you guys drive the RDX already? |

We're going by Acura at lunch today to take a test drive. We were there on Sunday, but with the baby we didn't want to drive anything. I'm a little concerned that the <2013 RDX is too small, and the new 2013 RDX, while larger and nicer, is missing the good SH-AWD and has the cheese-mo "realtime" AWD from the CR-V. We're also going to look at a used MDX as well. I think I'll prefer the MDX, but it might be larger that Lisa wants to drive every day. |
His number would be a 702 area code.
Yeah, we drove the RDX and decided to pass, MDX is really nice but spendy new. We were very close to moving on a Mercedes GLK, I really liked the way it drove and it had a lot of room. But I know you hate Mercs. We decided to wait it out for now. |
Bump for actual mileage: 33,216.
|
Bump. Still have the car, at least until Saturday. If anyone is interested, let me know ASAP.
Based on searching cars.com and autotrader.com, this is literally the nicest, lowest mileage Outback Sedan on the planet. ;) |
Lisa finally got some time to take current pictures of the car in the daylight:

How do we know you haven't been driving over curbs just because you can?
|
Welp... no longer for sale. Here's why:

I like that the WRX is now a shelf :)
