A red top is the 2.0L turbo motor... they make around 300hp in "stage 2" trim. It would be pretty obvious if it's got a red top in there... what with the turbo and intercooler, and the red valve...

I believe there's a way to pull them apart and change the cutoff to make it level rather than RHD. It's just a massive PITA apperently.

I *finally* went by ProtoFab at lunch today. $100 bought me 6 2"x1/8"x6' flat bar, 6 1"x1"x1/8"x6' angle iron, and 4 1/2"x1/2"x.065x4' square tube. That's about 10 times cheaper than Home Depot....

I dunno... imagine an RX-8 with 300+ hp and 300+ ftlbs of torque. Assuming the Subaru version is indeed sporting the STi motor, it's basically going to be a Vette with 1000lbs less weight.

This car is likely to be a class killer unless it goes straight into street-prepared.
