That sucks. I wish the schedule hadn't changed but I'm sure it was necessary. I was going to install Konis that weekend but I don't mind postponing that.

There's a light in the dash gauge cluster by the tach or something that says "security". IIRC, it flashes like once every 20 seconds or so when the alarm is armed but more quickly when in valet mode.

I used toothpaste and my finger on a scratched CD years ago after I was told this would work but it only made the CD hazy and didn't remove any scratches.

When the red light on the dash blinks, that actually means that you're in valet mode. If you have the OEM alarm, you should have an extra horn mounted at the top of the front passenger side shock...
