I say just hook him up with the v-band too. I bet it works 10 times better than that donut gasket! I don't see the permatex lasting very long before it starts leaking.

I looked at summit for one a few months back and they didn't have it. I ended up buying a 4-bolt one (at summit) that had the same diameter and trimming the two holes that weren't needed off.
