you could apply my tried and true (expensive and stupid) methodology of if no one can figure out your problem, beat on the car until the problem gets that someone can figure it...

and could add a lot to the fun factor (if it loosens up the back end)

ya it could be a bad idea... ive actually had my wheel nearly come off once on stage and had to grab the hub to steer.. it was a crazy holy crap moment and that was just on a 1.8 with crap...
