No, that's true. You just have to be meticulous with the tightening process to ensure the wheel centers up as the lugs tighten. Hubcentric rings/wheels just reduce the chance you'll get it wrong.

Is it an Exide Orbital? I had one in the SVX for a while... it lasted longer than a Red Top. But the SVX demolishes gel cell batteries because of some crap about bad power frequency or something...
