He may have been talking about the lines that run between the boost controller and the wastegate... if the restrictor in there isn't the right size, then the boost controller may not have accurate...

Nice work, I have the same wheels in bronze on my 03. I'm running 235/40/17 with no rubbing. I wish I went with 245/40's.
