Hey, if you know the intake doesn't do anythign for you performance wise, then you get the stamp of approval from us. But basically everyone will tell you that the AP should be the first engine mod, not the last, and you should only do mods that you can get Cobb-supplied maps for, until you can get custom tuned.
But to be honest... with $500/month extra... you're better off just going out and getting an STi while your WRX is still worth good money. It will probably take most of that $500/month between payment and insurance to get one, but you can't make your WRX as fast as a stock STi for $500 monthly anytime soon. In fact, if you drop $500 a month on your car... in two years you will have spent $12,000 and be almost as fast as a stock STi.
