The consturction company that is doing the building next door typically has a security firm keep an eye on things. But they told me that they haven't set up security patrols yet. I checked with everyone possible before I went down and filed a Grand Theft Auto Report.

Well, it sounds like someone saw the car just sitting there night after night and decided to yoink it.
Probably a bad idea to leave it unmoved for so long, but still doesn't make getting it stolen any less the thief's fault.
