The head of the bolt is a 14mm, but that has nothing to do with the thread!

I just confirmed it is the same as the seat belts 7/16" X 20 threads per inch or fine thread.

This is a DOT regulation seat and seat belt bolt. Minimum is grade 5, but most use grade 8s.

By the way, this is why Schroth harnesses only come with this thread bolt in different lengths and not a bunch of different threads as well.
