McLaren should just set Alonso's rev limiter to 8,000 rpm for the race. WTF is a scrutineer going to do to prevent that? More importantly, what business is it of the FIA's to regulate that a driver gets a particular level of support from his team? Is the FIA going to doc Hamilton points or something if Alonso is unhappy with his car? It's not like they can take away constructor's points.
If I were McLaren, and I knew my driver was being a bitch about driving what's arguably the best prepared car in F1, and I knew he's trying to leave the team at the end of the year, I would just fire his ass now. The team has already lost their chances of a manufacturer's championship, so the only incentive they have for continued success is loyalty to their drivers. You'll have a hard time convincing me that Alonso's earned the loyalty of his team.
I'd love to see Alonso's tire changers "accidentally" drop their lugs at every pit stop.
