How come there are so few women in motorsports? It's one of the few sports where strength, agility, and size (the normal "excuses" why women and men are in different leagues
) aren't the most important factor. In fact since women are smaller and lighter on average, they actually should be *better* than men for racing... (flying fighter aircraft too, but that's a whole other rant) The car does all the hard work, women should be just as fast as men... so why are there so few in the sport?

) NASCAR needs a female Jeff Gordon to build female acceptance in motorsports. F1 could use some women again too.
