As far as bringing worthless threads back from the dead, I would like to clarify a few past details on my own behalf as well, in regards to the 'old Carson crew'.
I beat the hell out of the cars I drove in high school. No doubt about it. But it's not like I drove the piss out of them constantly, like every other douchebag of the time. Unfortunately, when I finally had a car that had less than 120,000 miles and wasn't purchased for less than $1,500, my bad habits manifested once again. Once I realized how badly I had treated the car, despite no structural or mechanical damage, I drove the car very conservatively the last 50k I owned it with the cobb de-tuned reflash it had always had . Even with all the thrashing, I am although, appreciative I had the chance to learn through experience and to use available resources. As well, i'm still thankful I had friends like you guys who understood the aspects of automotive mechanics as well (
if not better) as I did. I would like to state (at least jaunt your memories) that I wasn't 'clueless' then, despite not yet taking advantage of the benefits of a wideband in conjunction with the use of nitrous@18psi, and i'm sure as hell not clueless now. Tim, I know we don't exactly see eye to eye, but I sincerely apologize for any and all harm I had caused you. Even though it's been years, i've always felt guilty. I was naive and foolish to be upset or angry about anything as well. Sam, was your description 'fine'; post or prior new longblock?
