If I ever get a late fee, I just call up and say something like, "Oh gee, I didn't get my statement in the mail this month and just plumb forgot since I didn't get the statement." They give you one free out a year. They'll remove late fees and interest based charges, basically extending the grace period by a month. Pretty cool.
