No, the truck was a little further away than in the diagram, but the guy freaked out and gunned it. I think he thought he had plenty of time to cross traffic, not realizing how slow he had to launch on the ice. And then, of course, his ass was halfway through the intersection and the truck was barreling down with no way to stop in time, so he just gunned it through the rest of the intersection, and still tried to make the turn. And that's when he looped it and was faced right at me. Luckily I saw this all happening and started braking well before he started spinning.

Although, I forgot to mention, we did see the remnants of a big-ol'-truck hitting a much larger delivery truck. It looked like another case of "hey, I've got enough time to pull out in front of this guy."
