There's a $50 minimum charge per job at the machine shop. So, I'm guessing he can't thread a little piece of steel for <$35 unless you've got 40 friends that need 'em too.
Also, Matt the more I see these things installed in pictures, the more I want one! I was concerned that the car ends up looking un-Subaru w/o the scoop, but I'm just not feeling that way when I see the pics. Lemme know if you want one on my car for pictures, I'll get it painted to match when I get my next round of body work done (whenever that'll be).
