Default Dakar not to end in Dakar next year

I can't remember if someone posted the news earlier here or not, but this year on the eve of its 29th running, the Dakar rally was canceled due to direct terrorist threats. The year prior, they had to cancel all the stages in Mauritania for the same reason. Its a sad state of affairs, but the classic Dakar had to move in order to survive.

Next year it'll go through Argentina and Chile, starting and ending in Buenos Aires.

Not much more is known, except that it should be exciting to see the Dakar cars competing in the new terrain.
