Well, I was kinda wondering why my wife got something in the mail for her car registration and I hadn't and I realized about 20-30 sec before I got pulled over by Five-Oh that my shit was expired already.
Anyway, so I guess I can go get some of the fine reduced if I go with the renewed registration to pay the fine (or at least that's what the officer said). Has anyone else had to do this before or heard about it? I'm just curious what kind of reduction I could be getting. $140 sucks.
That's before I get my shit smogged and renewed (with late fees no less) too.
I think I'm going to do the smog + renewal at Instant Smog at the Mission Car Wash. Anyone done it there before? (Or other Instant Smog locations?)
P.S. What the fudge is wrong with lame ass Nevada making you resmog your vehicle every time you have to sneeze? 90 days for emission test validity is bullshit. In California it's like you only have to smog test every
5 years. Ugh.
