Default Doesn't "special pricing" usually mean that things cost less?

In the next week or so I was planning to sell a truck on Ebay and coincidently I just got an email from Ebay today about a "special deal". Now maybe I am reading this wrong but, it looks as though the special price is going to cost me $55 more to sell my truck than the regular price would have. I can see how the special price would save you money if you assumed that your car was not going to sell. Then I ask you; why would I want to list my car on Ebay with the assumption that its not going to sell?
