Something to consider especially with that skid plate is to thermal coat or wrap any aftermarket headers you may use. Shit, I thermal wrapped my OEM headers when I installed my coated UP. I think Sperry had issues with stuff melting (timing belt cover?) when he went to a metal skid plate, but he had uncoated headers and a big turbo... How about putting some tiny vents in the plate? Maybe it's non-issue, but thought I'd mention it.
