Who's saying the stock struts are as good as Teins? All that's been said is that they're the same basic design.

He is now selling his set up to get what I have. Not only that I have gone to the Autox out here I have seen the Cobb car go not the cone basher there 2.5rs. I can tell you from watching josh from Cobb drive and seeing the car sway. My other friend with Tein's is smoking the Cobb car there is a hole lot of play in the Cobb car witch has a better set up than Nate is doing. no

Really... when was the last time you've seen Nate's car run against the Cobb car? Never, considering Nate's car isn't even finished.

Also, how can you say the Cobb car has better setup than Nate's? No one know's Nate's setup except Nate! Show me some spring rate info and shock dyno data from both Cobb and Nate and then you might have an argument. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that's a pretty bold statement to make w/o any information to back it up... especially since I'm betting all the info you have on Nate's custom suspension you learned in this thread. I'm also pretty impressed that you can tell how good the Cobb setup is by simply "seeing the car sway".
The whole point regarding Nate's suspension is that for less money, you can get a setup that's as good as any of the popular name brand coilover kits... and if you spend the same amount of money with Nate, you'll probably end up with a better setup than those kits. I hate to break the news to ya Evan, but Tein Flex's aren't the epitome of coilovers. They're damn good, especially for a <$2000 setup, but there are better setups out there. In general, a custom valved/sprung setup will be faster than an off the shelf setup if the guy putting it together knows what they're doing.
