I'm not a huge fan of Macs, I've always been a PC guy.

Honestly, while I still prefer a PC for my primary box, I like having a Mac laptop that generally works fine, and is super-compact. I don't need a desktop replacement to take with me places, I just need to get on the internet. And the iPhone replaced a long series of Windows smartphones, and it's a huge improvement in every way except battery life. And hell, my desktop PC is a Dell, not a homebuilt. I work in tech support, I don't want to build and maintain some cantankerous assemblage of various parts anyways - it gets old.
