And BTW: better engine management won't fix the creep issue unless it watches your boost and changes the TPS once you start to overboost. Basically the only way for Engine Managment to fix boost creep is to take the foot of the pedal for you, which it can do now that the STi is throttle by wire.

The root of the creep issue is that even with the wastegate fully open, the car still increases boost. It's a mechanical problem... all the software can do it attempt to open the wastegate more, and once it's fully open, you're SOL.

IMO, TBE = port that wastegate! Then hope Subaru doesn't look in there if you need warranty work done... even though a ported wastegate can't possibly hurt anything (unless you fuck the turbo up while doing it), I'm sure Subaru will try to deny your waranty repair.
