Good point on the ECU thing, it was originally for emissions only, but manufacturers have started cramming everything into that processor, from emissions to engine managment, to the goddamn radio stations.

It really should simply be called the CPU.
UTEC is not standalone, it's a piggyback just like the XEDE is, and it can change most anything that the ECU uses for engine management, so I'd say "engine" is the correct "E".
