I think it would be even faster for you since there is not intercooler and turbo to work around. I have an engine lift and stand; I don't have a car lift, tranny jack, or upper body strength. I'd do the engine method if I was doing it at home, but I'd expect an actual mechanic (or just somebody with access to a lift) to do it that way.
