Buick could have been the Audi/BMW of the U.S. if they had known how or had a clue what that market segment wanted. They took the few remaining Olds customers and thought they had gained market share and kept building crap even your parents don't want in this country.
Why U.S. Automakers can't figure out how to compete with European and Asian nameplates in the U.S. is beyond me. Maybe they are afraid of the DMCA if they reverse engineer them.
