Torque on an auto is a weird beast. The torque converter before lock-up can multiply the motor's output dramatically. Not to say that's not real torque at the wheels, since that's the whole point of a TC (multiplying engine output), but it pays to remember that that's not exactly what the motor's putting out.
I bet if that graph wasn't cut off at 2500 rpm the peak torque would be closer to 350!
