Funny thing, at the time an Audi and Stealth owner, Dean talked me into looking at the WRX as a sporty car that I could upgrade to from a Dodge minivan.
Forget the modding, in its stock form it could compete in rallies, autox, track events, and be an awesome daily driver too - what was not to like?
Good find, Matt. This article was one of a series that we submitted to SCCA, that ended up netting our region the 'free' WRX for a year. Scott was right, though - it was too bad we couldn't comply with the retarded insurance requirements to actually take possession.
