Yeah, as I understand it, my 05 Legacy GT has a dual mass flywheel, and was the first Subaru (at least in the new turbo era) to have one.
When I was looking at options, I was thinking of going with a WRX clutch and flywheel from an '02-'06 since they were all single mass. In the end, I went with Exedy for an 02-06 WRX.
Regardless, $40 sounds like a price I was quoted for resurfacing before I told them about the dual mass.
