Default Sprint sucks... here's why

...in 1000 characters or less (since that's how big the FCC complaint field is on their website).

Quote:
Had a 2 line plan. Ported a line to AT&T on 9/11/09. Closed the 2nd line on 11/10/09. Was told the 2nd line had to be on a seasonal hold plan for $8.99/mo until 12/7 because I "can't" cancel mid-billing cycle.

Checked mid Nov and saw Sprint planning to charge me $114.12 on 12/1. Called and was told me I should not have been placed on the hold plan because it won't be refunded and that I needed a $39.99/mo single line plan for the remainder of the Nov cycle that would be refunded along with a $65.68 pro-rated refund for 11/11-12/7 already paid.

12/1 I was debited $114.12 and was refunded $0. Called 12/9 was told that the $114.12 was still in error but I had to wait until 1/7 for the refund. Unwilling to give another loan to Sprint and concerned about the missing $65.68 refund I escalated the issue to a supervisor who then told me the charges were correct and only offered an address for a written complaint.

The $114.12 was never explained which was 45% more than any month prior.
