The Five-O's are fine injectors, but there are a few reasons I personally prefer DW:
- The DW's are made from the same Denso cores as Subaru injectors, whereas the Five-O cores are Bosch or something (stamped with "VW" on them) and the bodies are machined down and the o-rings changed out to fit... for top-feeds anyway.
- The DW injectors up to the 850cc ones use latencies virtually the same as the stock injectors, so they are easy to tune and they idle so nicely (like stock).
- The last set of Five-O injectors we tried to install were not machined and had the wrong o-rings, so they had to be sent back and exchanged. A minor PITA that delayed the customer's install by a few days.
