It takes next to nothing to kit out and run a Miata, especially for autocross. Just remember that if you want to leave stock class for anything but Tuner, you'll have to step up for some solid coilovers and maybe a handful of other bits like bushings. STR and CSP Miatas are seriously fast when fully built, and you'll get murdered in class consolidation by a better prepped car without them.
