Yeah, I did a little research. Looks like the original Bandai box set was 6 DVDs and a soundtrack CD. This release is a copy crammed on 3 DVDs, and while it's good and affordable (the original Bandai box sets were numbered limited editions, so they go for $200 to $300 now) people say the quality sufferes.
