Yeah, that's what really sucks about it; all the units are instant on/off and the laser beam spread is negligible, it doesn't scatter like radar, so all a detector hit does is tell you that there's about to be a cop pulling you over.  There are some counter-measures that can be taken... removing the front license plate is the biggest, since most are very light-reflective. |
I'm actually not that worried.... I don't speed too much anymore. I must be getting old.
